  • Leendert van der Bijl - Leendert works for EPI-USE in the America office. As you can see he has not updated it for a while but it still contains a lot of valuable information.
  • Systematic HR - systematicHR is a human resources blog about the intersection between HR process and HR technology. It is where HR strategies become the practice of service delivery. Here, they discuss how HRMS systems, point solutions such as TAS, TMS, portals, etc, can be utilized to maximize the employee experience and enhance the strategic capabilities of the organization as well as the concerns of the day such as employee engagement, project management, and cost parameters to strategies. They discuss how different processes and service delivery models such as HRO and call centers affect employee’s experience.

  • What is Human Capital? - November 2007 - Defines ‘human capital’ and considers the relationships between human capital and other forms of capital, looks at human capital measures, reporting and identifying business drivers, includes the CIPD viewpoint.
  • Succession Planning - April 2007 - Examines the background to succession planning, looks at the main features of modern succession planning, considers the role of HR.

  • People Management and Technology Survey: Progress and Potential - June 2005 - The CIPD 2005 People Management and Technology survey considers current and emerging trends on how information technology is changing people management and development practices. It builds on the findings of the previous surveys by examining the progress and prospects in the use of human resource information systems. This survey is broader in scope. We have also examined the use of electronic communication in delivering HR policies and procedures and the use of technology as a tool in the workplace. Data was obtained from HR professionals in over 300 organisations via a paper questionnaire and supplemented by ten telephone interviews.
